Central Pattana reports Q3/2024 strong performance, total earnings of Baht 12.28 bn, net profit of Baht 4.12 bn

Bangkok: Central Pattana plc has reported its performance for the third quarter of 2024, with total earnings of Baht 12.28 bn and a net profit of Baht 4.12 bn, and announced its partnership with Hilton to launch the new hotel, the ‘Hilton Garden Inn Rayong’ to further strengthen Central Pattana’s hotel portfolio – the highlight being its connection to Central Rayong shopping center, targeting tourists and business visitors to Rayong. Central Pattana is also launching several new condominium projects: ESCENT HATYAI II, with complete facilities for convenience, located in high potential location at Central Hatyai; and ESCENT PHUKET, fully furnished units in the heart of Phuket, close to abundant amenities that meet all lifestyle needs. Central Pattana is moving forward to further spur Thailand’s economy and tourism in the fourth quarter by ensuring that Central shopping centers become sustainable popular global destinations for happy celebrations.

Ms. Naparat Sriwanvit, Chief Financial Officer and Senior Executive Vice President, Finance, Accounting and Risk Management for Central Pattana plc, said: “The company's performance remains strong due to private sector consumption and the recovery of tourism as well as our strong mixed-use development. As a result, our total earnings in the third quarter were Baht 12.28 bn and a net profit of Baht 4.12 bn. This success was due to increased leasable space and occupancy rates in three shopping centers: Central Westville, Nakhon Sawan, and Nakhon Pathom, as well as higher tenant revenue in these centers and improved hotel business performance.”

In the third quarter, Central Pattana’s new projects have opened according to schedule, including the Hilton Garden Inn Rayong, located next to Central Rayong shopping center, which opened in August. The Hilton Garden Inn Rayong is located in the heart of Rayong city and is close to several popular tourist beaches, Ban Phe Market and Koh Samet, allowing guests to travel to various tourist attractions conveniently. The hotel is designed to meet the needs of both business and leisure travelers, with modern rooms and complete facilities. In September, Central Pattana opened two new condominium projects: ESCENT HATYAI II, a luxury condominium with complete facilities, which has been meticulously designed to support every use, allowing for full relaxation and for residents to enjoy their favorite activities, with a large common area in a prime location in the heart of the Central Hatyai project; and ESCENT PHUKET, fully furnished condo units in the heart of Phuket close to copious amenities that meet all lifestyle needs. In addition, Central Pattana is continuing with its business plan and is preparing to launch a new project: ‘Market Place Theprak’ under the model concept of community mall combined with an urban fresh market, located in the heart of the Theprak-Watcharapol, northern Bangkok. In January 2025, we will welcome everyone to the grand Chinese New Year celebrations and help to stimulate the Thai economy and tourism during the fourth quarter as well as ensuring that Central shopping centers become sustainable global destinations for the happy celebrations in the year-end campaign: ‘The World’s Great Celebration 2025’.
