From Vision to City: Central Park Hosts Global Design Talks, Uniting World-Class Designers at Bangkok Design Week 2026

Bangkok – Central Pattana invites the public to Central Park for “Design Talk: Designing the Future of Bangkok,” a design dialogue gathering the project developers, master planners, architects, and global designers behind Dusit Central Park to share perspectives on future-ready urban development. They will share their journey of design from concept to implementation to create a space where the city and its people can grow together. Design Talk will be held on Saturday 31 January 2026 from 13:00 hrs to 15:30 hrs at At Work, 6th floor, Central Park. It unveils the real-world creative process behind a large-scale mixed-use development, spanning master planning, the integration of retail, residences, offices, and hotels, and the interpretation of Bangkok’s urban context—shared directly by the minds behind its development and design.

The stage brings together the full spectrum of minds behind Dusit Central Park, from Central Pattana and Dusit Thani teams sharing their city-making philosophy under the concept “Here for Bangkok,” to master planners shaping a multi-use urban-scale development. Global architecture studio OMA offers insights into designing mixed-use projects within real city contexts, complemented by Linehouse’s interior design perspectives, A49’s approach to bridging global vision with local context, DWP’s contemporary reinterpretation of Dusit Thani Bangkok’s heritage, Landscape Collaboration’s process in creating the rooftop park as Bangkok’s green urban infrastructure, and Infinite Riot’s integration of contemporary art within architectural spaces.

The major highlight is the decoding of the design process from Master Plan to City Life, covering mixed-use design on a city scale, retail interior design that connects the city, nature and the rhythm of people’s lives. More highlights include contemporary interpretation of heritage, the design of rooftop gardens as green structures of the city and the art placed in architectural spaces to reflect a vision of Bangkok design that connects with practicality, quality of life and long-term sustainability.
